The most significant changes to the BBRF Guidelines are:
• project eligibility boundaries have changed; and
• projects located in an excluded area, may be eligible if they can clearly demonstrate significant benefits and employment outcomes which flow directly into an eligible area.

Applications close at 5pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time on 19 December 2017. Announcement of successful projects is expected in 2018
